SEO for Google is organic search optimization for this search engine, with its own metrics and rules. We do not set up Google Ads.

Google has formalized requirements for page speed and stability, its own model for evaluating content and an open position on links. We build the work on them as part of general SEO services, remotely.

What Google measures and why it matters

Three areas decide most of what we do for Google.

  • Page experience. Core Web Vitals measure loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability of a page. Google measures them on all sites.
  • Content quality. Google gives priority to helpful, reliable information written for people and judges experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness (E-E-A-T).
  • Links. Google has an open position on link schemes: buying, selling and swapping links counts as manipulation.

The technical base and quality content come first. Core Web Vitals, E-E-A-T and the link policy are what we check on top of that, and Search Console shows us the result.

What the work includes

The work is built around the technical requirements for a page, content and Google’s official position on links.

Technical SEO and Google Search Console

In Search Console we look at how the site appears in search: indexing coverage, performance and the status of structured data. This is especially visible in catalogs, covered in ecommerce SEO.

Site speed and Core Web Vitals

Google measures these metrics on all sites at the 75th percentile of page loads, separately for mobile and desktop.

Core Web Vitals: Google's thresholds

  • 2.5 secondsLCP, time until the main content of the page is displayed
  • 200 millisecondsINP, time the page takes to respond to a user action
  • 0.1CLS, acceptable shift of layout elements during loading

Content and E-E-A-T

Google gives priority to helpful, reliable information made for people and evaluates experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness. Our texts are produced on a pipeline with AI, but every fact is tied to a source and a human does the final read.

Google’s spam policies name buying, selling and swapping links as manipulation, for which a site is demoted or removed from search results. The exception is links marked nofollow or sponsored.

So we review the link profile as part of the analysis and strengthen pages that earn natural mentions. We do not buy links.

You can order the first step separately as an SEO website audit.

A user working with an AI search feature on a laptop

According to Google’s official documentation, no special optimization is needed for AI overviews: a page has to be indexable and eligible to show with a snippet. So visibility in AI answers rests on the same foundation as ordinary SEO. The wider topic is covered on the page about GEO for AI search.

What you get and why you can trust us

We have worked in SEO since October 2018 and have optimized more than 120 sites. We work with Search Console and GA4, and also use Ahrefs. We do not buy links and we do not use multi-accounts.

Frequently asked questions

What does Google measure that affects my site?

Google formalizes three areas. Page experience is measured through Core Web Vitals. Content is judged on helpfulness and E-E-A-T. Links fall under its spam policies. We plan the work around all three and check them in Search Console.

How much does it cost to get a site to the top of Google?

We price each project individually. The cost depends on the niche, competition in search results, the technical state of the site and the number of pages to promote. There are no fixed packages. The estimate is free, and we send it after a short brief about your business.

How soon will I see results from Google SEO?

Google does not publish its algorithm or how often it recalculates positions, so nobody can honestly name a date. In our experience, noticeable growth in impressions and clicks shows up within a few months of work, but that is an observation, not a guarantee.

What are Core Web Vitals and how does site speed affect Google rankings?

They are three user-experience metrics: LCP (loading, up to 2.5 seconds), INP (responsiveness, up to 200 milliseconds) and CLS (stability, up to 0.1). Google treats them as an important part of the experience and measures them on all sites.

How do I monitor indexing in Google?

Through Google Search Console. The page indexing report shows which pages are indexed and with what errors. There are also reports on search performance, Core Web Vitals and the status of structured data.

What is E-E-A-T and how does it affect Google SEO?

E-E-A-T stands for experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness of content, and Google calls trust the most important aspect. In practice it means a real author's byline, verifiable facts and content that solves the reader's problem.

Do I need links to rank in Google, and do you buy them?

We review link signals as part of the analysis, but we do not sell them as a separate service. We do not buy or swap links: Google treats such schemes as ranking manipulation, with the risk of being demoted in search results.

How can a site appear in Google's AI answers?

Google says no special optimization is required. It is enough for a page to be indexable and eligible to show with a snippet under the usual technical requirements. No special files or markup are needed for such answers.

Is Google SEO the right focus for my business?

Usually for an international audience, SaaS and IT products, and wherever Google is the default search engine. How much it matters for you shows only in your site's own data, so we start there.

Do you set up Google Ads?

No, we do not set up Google Ads. We work only with organic results: technical work and Core Web Vitals, content built on E-E-A-T, link signals as part of the analysis and monitoring through Search Console.
