A small business rarely needs a large site with dozens of pages. It needs a clear format that can actually be launched and will start bringing enquiries. So we start a small business website not with design but with a question: which format fits your situation?

We work with the same pipeline as for any turnkey site, adjusted for this segment: no coordinating several contractors, and a fast, predictable result.

What a small business website is and how it differs from a large project

The difference is not quality but the size of the structure. A corporate website needs sections for business lines and a large catalog. A small business needs one to three blocks that will actually be filled. If the task grows, the full range is on the page about turnkey website development.

Which site format to choose: brochure site, landing page or services site

The answer depends on two things: how many services you have and where your traffic comes from.

Three site formats for a small business

FormatWhen it fitsWhat you get
Brochure websiteSeveral services that are important to show separatelyA compact structure with sections about the company and services
Landing pageOne offer and a specific source of trafficOne page for the offer and the lead form
Small services siteSeveral services, each with its own demand in searchPages for each service, with room for promotion

Brochure website

A brochure website fits if, for example, you offer several kinds of repair and each is worth showing separately.

Landing page

Landing page development fits one offer and a ready traffic channel: ads, a newsletter or social media.

Small services site

If people search for a solution to each service separately, it makes sense to build one page per service. This is the base for promoting a service site.

Not sure which format fits you? We will review the task for free and suggest a format for your budget and your source of enquiries.

What a site must have to bring in enquiries

Contacts and a lead form

A contact method that is easy to see, and a simple form without extra fields. We connect spam protection and notifications about new enquiries.

Mobile version and load speed

Google indexes and ranks a site by its mobile version (Google Search Central, Mobile-first indexing). By Core Web Vitals, the main content should load within 2.5 seconds, response should stay within 200 milliseconds and CLS should not exceed 0.1.

Trust and structured data

LocalBusiness markup with address, phone and opening hours helps search and AI systems show what you do. A clear structure and an honest description of the work, without inflated promises, add trust.

  3. 03

    Design

We focus on contacts and the form, responsive for phone.

  4. 04

    Build and form

We build the pages, the form, spam protection and notifications.

  6. 06

    Launch and analytics

We publish the site and connect enquiry counters.

Search is a long-term channel

In our experience, organic search gives noticeable growth after 3–6 months. It then keeps working long term, and you do not pay for each enquiry as you do with ads.

Technical base and what we do not do

We build sites on static technologies, hosted on Cloudflare Pages and deployed through GitHub Actions. That means predictable speed without extra plugins.

We build online stores too: a catalog, a cart and our own admin panel with price list uploads from Excel, see the door handle store case study. For existing stores there is online store SEO. We do not offer Tilda sites as a separate service: our own stack is easier to prepare for promotion.

After launch, on request, we offer website improvements and website maintenance and support. If you add more services, you can add search promotion.

Frequently asked questions

What site does a small business need: a brochure site, a landing page or a services site?

It depends on the number of services and the source of traffic. Show several services with a brochure site. Use a landing page for one offer with a specific traffic channel. Use a small services site when several services each have their own demand in search.

How is a small business website different from a corporate website?

A corporate website is built for a large structure: departments, an extended service catalog, several levels of navigation. A small business usually needs one to three key blocks, without sections that nobody will have time to fill.

How much does a small business website cost?

We calculate the cost individually. It depends on the format, the number of blocks and the amount of technical preparation. There are no fixed price lists, because companies' tasks differ too much. We send an estimate after a short brief, and the estimate is free.

What must a site have to bring in enquiries?

Clear contacts, a lead form with spam protection, a mobile version, fast loading and structured data that helps search and AI systems understand what the company does. Without these, visitors more often leave without getting in touch.

Does a site need a mobile version if customers write from their phones?

Yes, it is essential. Google indexes and ranks a site by its mobile version, so its quality affects visibility. Without a convenient mobile version, a site loses both rankings and enquiries from phones.

How long does search take to bring enquiries after launch?

In our experience, organic search gives noticeable growth after 3–6 months. It then keeps working long term, and you do not pay for each enquiry as you do with ads. The technical base is in place from launch, so the site is ready to grow in search.

How long does it take to launch a small business website?

It depends on the format and the number of revisions at the design and copy stages. A brochure site or a landing page takes less time than a services site. We give an exact timeline after the brief and the approval of the structure.

What if the business already has an old site that brings no enquiries?

First check the technical state, the speed and the lead form. Sometimes the cause is a couple of specific problems. Website improvements fit one-off fixes, and if the structure itself is outdated, a redesign makes more sense.

Can I use a site builder instead of turnkey development?

We have worked with builders, but we do not offer Tilda sites as a separate service. We build sites on static technologies hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Speed is predictable, there are no extra plugins, and such a site is easier to prepare for search promotion.

What happens to the website after launch?

At launch we connect enquiry counters, so you can see how many enquiries the site brings. After that, on request, we offer website improvements and maintenance and support. If you add more services, you can add search promotion.
